Photo Printing |
I have tested a number of Photo Printing Labs around Singapore and the Fotohub branch on Beach Road has proven to be the most reliable in terms of colour accuracy and print quality. They also do good enlargements on high quality Crystal paper. |

Camera Equipment
Cathay Photo have an excellent range of cameras and accessories and they let you try the equipment in-store. |
Parisilk Holland Village |
Camera Equipment |
The range of cameras and accessories is much smaller than Cathay Photo, but prices are competitive. |
Framing
Angie is gifted when it comes to choosing the right frame to match a photograph or work or art. They can do archival quality framing using mostly acid-free materials for those who want to frame valuable, fine-art photographs. |

Photoshop Courses in Singapore |
Offers a large variety of PhotoShop and other software courses for beginners through to advanced using both CS3 and CS4. Courses run over multiple days. |
Recently arrived in Singapore, Mark teaches Photoshop courses through ANZA and at his home office in Chancery Lane. He also offers private lessons. You'll need to bring your own laptop with CS2 or higher. Mention Baobab Photography to qualify for discounted courses at Mark's home office. |
Offers Image Editing for Beginners over 4 sessions in the evenings. |
Note: I have not attended any of the above courses so I'm unable to evaluate the quality of the teaching and facilities. When learning a new software application I recommend going to a centre where you'll have a dedicated computer to work on and the version of software taught is the same one you'll be using at home. If you're using a Mac at home it'll be easier to learn on a Mac... and the same goes for a PC. |

| Recommended photography publication | |
This UK publication is by far the best digital photography magazine I've come across and they keep surpassing my expectations with ever more inspirational photography, excellent tutorials, thorough equipment reviews, etc. I never fail to learn something new from each edition and I scour it from cover to cover every month. |
